About this site

What is Top of Las Vegas?
Top of Las Vegas is an independent, editorial guide to where locals actually eat in the valley. We curate, rank, and annotate the restaurants worth your time: flagship rooms and neighborhood sleepers, trattorias and taquerias. Rankings rebuild weekly, data refreshes continuously.
Who is behind it?
The site is published by Top Rated Network LLC, an independent Las Vegas media company. Reviews and guides are written and bylined by the staff writers who cover each city. See the About page for the full story.
How often is the site updated?
Rankings rebuild every week. Restaurant data refreshes daily. Individual listings can be corrected same-day if you email the desk.
Is Top of Las Vegas part of a bigger network?
Yes. It is an independent edition of The Top Rated Network, a group of independent city guides running on the same methodology. Same methodology and the same Insider Score on every site, no tourist skew.

Rankings and scoring

How do your rankings work?
Every scored restaurant earns an Insider Score from 0 to 10, built from its full review record: a trust-weighted rating (sample size matters), a momentum signal for sustained recent traffic, and an editorial pass. The score rebuilds weekly. Full breakdown on How We Work.
Why is my favorite restaurant not on the list?
Most likely: it does not yet clear our review-depth threshold, or it fell off after a score recalculation. If you think a room has been unfairly missed, email the desk.
Do you accept advertising?
Yes, but only outside the editorial product. Advertising runs in clearly labeled ad slots that sit next to, not inside, the rankings. A paid ad cannot move a restaurant up in a list. See For Businesses for how it works.

Restaurants and corrections

A restaurant's hours, address, or details are wrong. How do I fix it?
Email the desk at [email protected] with the restaurant name and what needs updating. Most corrections ship the same day.
A restaurant is closed. Can you take it down?
Yes. Email the desk with a link to the listing and any confirmation (a sign, a news article, a Yelp "permanently closed" flag). We remove closed listings within 24 hours of verification.
Can I claim my restaurant's listing?
Owners can claim their listings and update hours, photos, menus, and contact info. Visit Claim Your Business to start the verification process. Claiming does not affect your ranking. It never has, it never will.
Can I add a restaurant that is not listed?
Yes. Add Your Business lets owners or readers submit a new restaurant. Submissions go through the same editorial review as anything else on the site.

Contact and press

How do I contact the editorial desk?
General email: [email protected]. Corrections: [email protected]. Press or partnership inquiries: [email protected].
Do you do press events or tastings?
Occasionally. The editorial desk attends press dinners when they are useful but does not factor them into rankings. Invitations should go to [email protected].
How do I subscribe to the newsletter?
The Tip Sheet lands every Friday: five rooms worth knowing about. Subscribe from the signup band near the bottom of most pages or on the newsletter page. Free, unsubscribe anytime.
